1. The Political Bureau (formerly the Administration
Committee): This is the most important central organ in the
Movement. All its members are elected by the Executive
Committee from among its prominant members. It is entrusted
with the power of executing the decisions of the Executive
Committee and supervising the daily work of the Movement;
2. The Ideological Committee: Members of this
committee are members and friends of the Movement named by
the Executive Committee. The person responsible for the
Committee should be a member of the National Congress. The
duty of the Committee is to draw and enrich the theoretical
programs of the Movement in the light of the resolutions of
the National Congress;
3. The Financial Committee: Members of this
committee are members of the Movement named by the Executive
Committee. The person responsible for the Committee should
be a member of the National Congress.
From the above survey of the organizational structure
of the Arab Nationalists Movement, one might conclude that
the Movement has developed a very rigorous organizational
set-up based on a system of vertical linkage where the lower
organs are subordinated to the higher organs and organs at
the same level cannot communicate but through the medium of
